Know me a little
Attracted to personal development and self inquiry, I am naturally inclined to take a philosophical approach to life. One of my goals is to help increase people’s mind-body dialogue, along with emphasizing compassion for one’s self and their surrounding world.
Where I am coming from
Having worked in corporate jobs for years, I understand the stress that can be at stake. It can easily affect the connection we feel towards both body and mind. I have felt the need for mental balance and understood that this need was shared by my coworkers and anyone working in a corporate or just living a stressful lifestyle. In this pursuit of balance, I have practiced and studied different styles of yoga, meditation, and mobility exercises. From which I have discovered that sharing my knowledge, experiences, and guidance gives me fulfillment. It helps myself grow as a person, realizing that learning and sharing is a cycle.
My hope is to help you build a sustainable physical practice, along with meditation, improving the quality of your lives along the way. I look forward to sharing this energy with you !
I am a certified Yoga instructor with main focus on Vinyasa, Animal Flow instructor level 1, Reiki practitioner certified level 1 & 2, currently in Budokon Yoga Teacher training, and have been a long-time guided meditation practitioner which I would love to share with you during my class.

What I teach
Characterized by moving from position to another, seamlessly, using breath, it is commonly referred to as “flow yoga”. It is not a fixed form and sequence. It offers a variety of postures making every class different, which can be adapted to your needs.
Animal Flow is a structured series of animal-style movements that can be linked together to form flows - similar to Vinyasa yoga in this way. It encourages core stability, strength, joint strength, developing motor control, body awareness and mobility — all without any fitness equipment and while having Fun !
Whether you’re looking to increase strength, mobility, agility, or flexibility, with a touch of playfulness, this practice can challenge you to achieve your goals. It is part of a movement system that incorporates yoga, animal locomotion, meditation, martial arts, calisthenics, from which I will be teaching the 3 first elements of this list. Budokon Yoga can be modified to suit all levels. (Currently in Teacher Training)
Mindfulness meditation isn't about letting your thoughts wander. But it isn't about trying to empty your mind, either. Instead, the practice involves paying close attention to the present moment — especially our own thoughts, emotions and sensations — whatever it is that's happening.
The twelve asanas in the Sivananda Yoga system, from which variations are then added to further deepen into the practice, follow a precise order. This allows for a systematic balanced engagement of every major part of the body - with the primary intention being to allow the prana, or life force energy, to circulate more freely.
Being a slow-paced style of yoga as exercise with asanas that are held for longer periods of time than in other styles, from 45 seconds to 5 minutes, it can be considered as a more meditative approach to yoga as one of its goals is the awareness of inner silence.
We can meet at one-to-one or in small groups. We will flow together either in English during my zoom classes, and I am also available to teach in Spanish or French upon demand. I am French-American but have also lived in Spain and now in Miami since 2013.
Benefits of Yoga
Yoga is not a competition, which is such a relief in our fast paced world. The main goal is to alleviate yourself, physically and emotionally. You don’t have to be flexible before starting yoga. I am grateful to have initiated 1st time practitioners to yoga who were able to quickly understand its benefits, and want some more 🙂

You will receive the Zoom links and dates available for the current or next week via email & WhatsApp – or text message if you don’t have WhatsApp. Please confirm via any of these means which date you would be interested to join the free class. You will then receive a confirmation. Please confirm you will join the session at least 2 hours before the class. I hope to see you on the mat soon!

Weekly Zoom class
We start with a meditation along with Breathing exercise, then Stretch and Flow through the Yoga asanas/positions. We can add some Animal Flow elements and conclude with Breathing exercises, a final rest in Savasana, and Meditation.
1st free class. $10 drop in afterwards. $90 for 10 classes. Refer a friend: they can enjoy they first free class too ! If they then purchase the 10 classes package, you have another free class.

Our private sessions can be:
• Adapted to your needs. We will discuss prior to the class. Do you want a more restorative session, more fitness oriented, or something in between? Also, they can be specific towards one of my areas of knowledge or we can mix up several elements: yoga, meditation, animal flow.
• Via Zoom or in person in Miami.
• From 1 to 8 persons. If more people, send me a message and we can make special arrangements.

I was not doing any yoga until Joseph invited me to one of his classes. Since then, I have become a regular student. Attending Joseph classes is a mix of fun, originality and personalization. He always takes time to look after us to make sure that all the moves are being done properly. He is also able to teach in 3 languages (French, English, Spanish) from any place (parks, homes, studios).

I had some private classes with Joseph which went great! I highly recommend them ! Since I work at a high stress office job, we worked on back and hips stretches while I had a little sweat. He was also very insightful on the proper alignments, using props. We also did some helpful breathing exercises and meditations which I can now incorporate in my daily life at the office. It makes a big difference. And the icing on the cake, we did the sessions in French which is perfect for me. I felt like I had his undivided attention.
